Payment Methods

All prices and payments on Vanuatu Buy & Sell are in Vanuatu Vatu (VUV). The total shown at checkout is the amount charged to you. If you are signed in, prices are also shown in your own currency as a guide; your bank converts the VUV amount, so the final amount on your statement may differ slightly.
1. Accepted payment methods
We accept credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Where your device supports them, Apple Pay and Google Pay may also be offered.
When you click “Pay now” you are taken to a secure payment page run by our payment processor, Stripe, to enter your payment details.
2. Payment methods we do not accept
We do not currently accept cash on delivery, cheques, bank transfers, money orders, or cryptocurrency for online orders. Never send cash or payment details by post, email, or message.
3. Payment security
Your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure page and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or security code.
Payments may be reviewed, delayed, or declined to prevent fraud. We will never ask for your card number, security code, or passwords by email, phone, or message.
4. When your order is confirmed
Your order is confirmed only once Stripe confirms your payment. If your payment does not complete, items held for you are released and you are not charged.
5. Declined payments
A card can be declined for reasons such as incorrect details, insufficient funds, or your bank blocking online or international transactions. For security reasons we are not told the exact reason.
Check your details, contact your bank, or try another card.
6. Bank and card fees
We do not add card surcharges. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees, for example an international transaction fee if your payment is processed outside Vanuatu. These fees are set by your bank, not by us.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. See our Refund Policy for timeframes.

Do not send products to any address unless we have approved a return and confirmed the drop-off location in writing.
